Expect exceptional productivity with draft A0 prints in just 48 seconds. Canon’s L-COA image processing technology and Gigabit Ethernet ensure stunning high-speed reproductions on everything from architectural plans to geographic information.

Productivity is maintained in networked environments thanks to the Media Mismatch function. This works through the hard disk drive. When a job is sent to print with a different media to that which is loaded, the user is informed via the operation panel and given the option to cancel it, print it anyway or change the media. In the meantime, the iPF755 continues with other jobs in the queue. “Hot-swap” ink tanks allow ink cartridges to be replaced during printing for maximum productivity.

A built in accounting function allows accurate tracking of the cost per print and the overall cost of your printer and enables you to view the data through the printer driver, or export it to a CSV file for use in your own files or systems. An Economy mode can be selected which uses less ink and Canon’s eMaintenance software automatically detects and manages mechanical problems and low ink levels, linking directly to a Canon service centre for maximum uptime.

Canon’s 5-colour dye-and-pigment reactive ink system produces vivid colours and the sharpest, thinnest lines and the new magenta ink makes the red gamut even better. With a range accuracy of +/- 0.1% as well as a minimum line width of 0.02mm, precision is guaranteed. Images are rendered at 2,400 x 1,200 dpi for maximum impact, thanks to super-fine print heads using 15,360 nozzles.

The iPF755 is HP-GL/2 and HP-RTL compatible, including palette and pen settings. As well as an HDI driver for AutoCAD and for Microsoft Office users, there is a plug-in to print in Word, Excel and PowerPoint directly from the application. A Microsoft Office Plug in and an HDI driver for Windows are also incorporated.

The new PF-04 print head incorporates a new nozzle shape to reduce satellite ink, producing cleaner lines and text, and minimizing mist. With the Canon HDI Driver for AutoCAD application, the driver creates a vector graphical representation of the printed data. Here, points are defined and a curved line is calculated mathematically in order to achieve precision. The HDI Driver creates a graphically accurate drawing of the printed data.

The Real Preview feature ensures users that the print setting and the layout on the roll paper is correct by providing real time preview, allowing users to change the print setting even after clicking on "print."
